In January 2026, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) announced that Basic Experimental Studies Involving Humans (BESH) will no longer be subject to the requirements under the NIH Clinical Trial Definition (NOT-OD-26-032).
The Office of Research Protections and the Office of Sponsored Programs will present a virtual informational session about the NIH change on July 22 at 12pm. Please see the below announcement for more information and registration details.

- NASA released biosketch and current and pending (other) support disclosure forms in Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae (SciENcv). The SciENcv forms are optional for grant applicants through 8/31/2026 but will be required for all proposals beginning 9/1/2026.
