The following administrative issues may cause delays in proposal submission to a sponsor or result in negative funding decisions:
- PI Certification Missing
- Missing COI Disclosures
- Incorrect formatting
- Math errors in budget
- Exceeding page limits
- Incorrect Biosketch and/or Other Support format
- Budgets that are not in line with the project goals
- Omission of specific documents or requirements
- Last minute revisions to project titles or corrections to sponsor-required naming conventions
Department research administrators and investigators are encouraged to contact OSP well in advance of a proposal deadline with any questions and to route proposals to OSP by the internal 4 business day deadline, so that any issues/errors can be addressed in advance of the sponsor deadline.
