The Office of Sponsored Programs in conjunction with the Division of Laboratory Animal Resources (DLAR) has streamlined the process to request Genetically Modified Animals (GMAs)*.
Effective immediately, requests for genetically modified animals will no longer require Office of Sponsored Programs Approval. The acquisition of these animals will be coordinated solely by DLAR.
