The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) PERIS™ MyFunding system is reporting that a high volume of proposals for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) June 5 deadline have not yet been routed to OSP for review and submission. To ensure timely submission to NIH, please route to OSP as soon as possible or alert your OSP specialist if the proposal submission plans have changed.
As a reminder, complete and final proposals, including the PI Certification, are to be received by OSP in MyFunding at least four (4) business days prior to the sponsor’s due date for Grant Submissions. Adhering to this internal deadline ensures that the proposal is fully reviewed and submitted to the sponsor on time.
Please note that your school and/or department may impose additional deadlines and requirements, so please confirm those deadlines within your school/department.
If a proposal is not received by the OSP before the stated internal deadline, no guarantee can be provided that the proposal can be submitted by the sponsor deadline.
