The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) issued in October 2015 the requirements concerning rigor and transparency in grant applications. These requirements apply to most research grant applications and progress reports submitted for due dates on or after January 25, 2016.
