The National Institutes of Health (NIH) implemented its new Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Policy in January 2023. The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) has become aware that NIH staff are contacting investigators directly with questions on proposed DMS plans without copying OSP.
So that the University can better understand how NIH is approaching the new policy and support investigators in their plan development, investigators are encouraged to share any DMS plan feedback and questions from the NIH with OSP (osp@pitt.edu).
