Uniform Guidance Readiness Guide

On August 13, 2020 the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) released revisions to the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (i.e. the Uniform Guidance), which went into effect on November 12, 2020. The Uniform Guidance is an authoritative set of rules and requirements for federal grants and cooperative agreements.

In response to the Uniform Guidance revisions, the Council on Governmental Relations (COGR), of which Pitt is a participating member, created a Uniform Guidance Readiness Guide as a resource for institutions. The Readiness Guide highlights key clauses and changes from the previous version of the Uniform Guidance and can be helpful to investigators and administrators who manage federal awards.
