Using Pitt Email Accounts for NIH Data Requests

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) are notifying investigators that data access requests to NIH Controlled-Access Data Repositories are denied or canceled for the following reasons:

  • The request does not comply with Guide Notice NOT-OD-25-083); and/or
  • One or more data recipients listed in the request do not have a valid institutional email address or identifier.

Investigators should use Pitt emails in their login.gov accounts to ensure that the requesting institution information is consistent within the data request.
