All awards, including amendments, modifications, and no-cost extensions, must be processed and activated by the Office of Sponsored Programs before a subaward can be issued to a site.
If you submit a subaward request in Contraxx prior to the full activation of an award in MyFunding, it cannot be processed. If you have a current submission request in Contraxx for an award that has not yet been fully activated, please let your Subaward Specialist know when you have received your activation notice from Sponsored Projects Accounting (SPA), and the processing of your request will resume. Otherwise, please request your outgoing subawards/amendments after you have received your activation notice from SPA.
