What Are the Different Types of Office of Sponsored Programs Communications?

The Office of Sponsored Programs regularly sends communications to the university’s research community.

Tip of the Week – This email communication contains Information on research-related topics that are often unknown or misunderstand but important for research administrators and faculty.  View all past Tips of the Week.

News and Notes – This email communication contains a collection of information from various sources, including governmental agencies, Pitt central offices, training opportunities, and announcements. View the News and Notes archive.

General Announcements and Alerts – This email communication contains important information for the university research community that is neither a Tip of the Week nor in the News and Notes.  Often, this information is time sensitive, from leadership, or could be a forwarded email from a sponsor or university committee. View past general communications posts. 

PERIS™ Project Communications – These email communications are sent by the PERIS™ project team to the PERIS™ listserv to share information and tips about how to use the new PERIS™ solution and to provide project status updates.  Announcements and information about the project can be found on the project’s website
