What is the FDP FCOI Clearinghouse, and how do I use it?

The Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP), of which Pitt is a member, allows institutions and other entities to document that they are in compliance with the Public Health Service (PHS) Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) requirements via a clearinghouse.

Departmental Research Administrators can use the FCOI Clearinghouse to verify a subrecipient’s compliance.  If the subrecipient is not listed in the FCOI Clearinghouse, the subrecipient needs to complete Pitt’s FCOI Form 1 and FCOI Form 2 (if applicable) prior to proposal submission or prior to subaward issuance if the subrecipient was not identified at time of proposal.

If Pitt’s sponsor is a PHS agency, documentation of a subrecipient’s inclusion in FDP’s FCOI Clearinghouse or a completed Form 1 and Form 2 (if applicable) must be included as attachments in the MyFunding proposal information and the subaward request information that is routed to the Office of Sponsored Programs.
