Limited Submissions are opportunities where a funding agency only accepts a certain number of applications from an institution. In these situations, Pitt is responsible for overseeing an internal competition to select the applications that best meet the requirements of the opportunity and have the best chance to be funded.
All solicitations should carefully be reviewed by faculty and research administrators to ensure there are no restrictions on the number of applications that may be submitted.
