What should I do if I need to have something signed in the Office of Sponsored Programs?

Many sponsors require endorsement letters or signature pages to be signed by the Authorized Organization Representative (AOR), who for the University of Pittsburgh is Jennifer E. Woodward, PhD, Vice Chancellor for Research Operations (see previously issued Tip of the Week).

Obtaining a signature from the AOR or its designee is part of the Office of Sponsored Programs’ standard processes:

  • For proposals, submit the proposal documents, including any signature pages, through MyFunding
  • For awards or items unrelated to proposals, submit documents through the Office of Sponsored Programs intake emails:
  • Intake@pitt.edu for the Grants Management Team
  • ClinCorp@pitt.edu for the Clinical and Corporate Contracts Team
  • FedCon@pitt.edu for the Federal Contracts Team

Please visit the Office of Sponsored Programs website to view the most updated processes for each team, or connect with your assigned Office of Sponsored Programs contact for specific questions.
