Do I need to register in grants.gov?

Federal grant proposal guidelines often include instructions for applying for a grants.gov account. Grants.gov registration is maintained by the Office of Sponsored Programs and is connected with Dr. Jennifer Woodward as the Authorized Organization Representative (AOR), who is authorized to submit proposals on behalf of Pitt.  Therefore, individual Principal Investigators and departmental staff are advised to ignore those instructions because they are not applicable.  Please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Sponsored Programs (osp@pitt.edu or 412-624-7400)  with any questions about required registrations or other accounts associated with sponsors.
