Forwarding Internal Office of Sponsored Programs Emails to External Recipients

Investigators and administrators occasionally forward internal email communications from the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) to external parties in an effort to expedite or facilitate communication.  However, care should be taken when forwarding these communications outside of Pitt. Internal communications are intended to remain within the University and may contain confidential or sensitive information which should not be disclosed outside of the University. If you are unsure if an OSP message is safe to forward to an external recipient, please ask the author of the original email before sharing the message externally.
