Updated Timeline for Contraxx to MyRA Subaward Request Transition and Call for Testing Volunteers

The PERIS™ Team is working on the Phase 2 transition of outgoing subaward requests from Contraxx to MyRA. Phase 2 will allow subaward amendments to be requested in MyRA from active subawards that were previously processed in Contraxx.

The Phase 2 timeline is:

  • 12/11/23 – 1/25/24: Pilot period with department administrator volunteers
  • 01/26/24: Last day to submit a subaward amendment request in Contraxx
  • 02/01/24: First day to submit a subaward amendment request in MyRA for all users. All subaward requests, including amendments must be submitted in MyRA.

We are looking for volunteers to pilot the new process for requesting amendments. If you would like to process any upcoming subaward amendment requests in MyRA instead of Contraxx, please email mdd37@pitt.edu. You will then be invited to a brief demonstration of the MyRA conversion process, which will include a review of the MyRA SmartForms, workspace, and workflow. Volunteers will be expected to provide timely feedback to the PERIS™ Team throughout their experience so that any unanticipated technical issues can be addressed.

Please note that any subaward requests submitted in Contraxx prior to 01/26/24 will continue to be processed and finalized in Contraxx and will not need to be re-entered into MyRA.

Multiple training dates and written guidance for all users will be available in January ahead of the February 1st go-live date and announced after Winter Recess.
