A Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) number (https://sam.gov/content/assistance-listings) is a number assigned in the awarding document to most grants and cooperative agreements funded by the Federal government. Each program is assigned a unique number (XX.XXX) by agency and program that follows the program throughout the assistance lifecycle allowing for data and funding transparency.
